St. Kitts Highlights Citizenship By Investment Plans to GCC Residents

Are you interested in traveling the world and explore it to discover more of its beautiful lands? Obtaining a citizenship at St. Kitts and Nevis definitely provides you a luxurious way to live while enjoying the most beautiful landscapes and islands.

St. Kitts and Nevis offers Citizenship by Investment (CBI) programme – which enables foreign investors to acquire their passport in exchange for an investment of $150,000 for a single person and $195,000 for a family of four. The program allows the second passport holder to travel across the world without having to go through the hassle of standing in the queue for visas.

Gulf residents, especially the ones in Dubai, have been encouraged to take advantage of the latest Citizenship by Investment (CBI) programme of St. Kitts and Nevis which allows their family to get citizenship and obtain passports to the twin-island state.

The dual-island state of St. Kitts and Nevis in the Eastern Caribbean has significantly diversified its economy— from being sugar industry-dependent to one where tourism has become the largest source of foreign exchange over the last 40 years.

St. Kitts and Nevis’ passport is the world’s 26th most powerful and no. 1 in the OECS region, according to the recently published Henley Passport Index. The global ranking measures a country’s passport strength depending on the number of countries its holders can freely travel to, with St. Kitts and Nevis adding up to 15 new territories to its list since last year. The state also allows dual citizenship, while at the same time allowing its passport holders to also keep their original passport from their country of origin.

In the investor citizenship industry, St. Kitts and Nevis is also known as offering the Platinum Standard of all citizenship by investment programmes.

St. Kitts is also home to Brimstone Hill Fortress, a UNESCO world heritage site. Overall, the island state is the ideal place for those who are seeking business investment opportunities, safety, efficiency, and an undemanding travel requirement.

“The St. Kitts and Nevis passport is very well regarded and has an excellent reputation, and only relatively few passports have been issued under this citizenship-by-investment programme by the Government. It has the lowest-cost programme among Caribbean states to gain second citizenship for Americans,” stated Les Khan, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the St. Kitts and Nevis Citizenship by Investment Unit.

“I take this opportunity to invite residents of the Gulf countries to take advantage of Citizenship by Investment programme and avail visa-free travel to more than 120 countries globally.”

At the time the global index has expanded, the dual-island state offered visa-free or visa-on-arrival travel to 151 destinations. The destinations include the UK, Ireland, Russia, Israel, and the Schengen Area. Since then, the St. Kitts and Nevis has signed further joint visa waiver agreements with states such as Gambia, Sao Tome, and Principe, Bahrain, San Marino, and Togo.

St. Kitts and Nevis are known for creating wide diplomatic relations, which was explained further in a recent independent study at the Financial Times’ Professional Wealth Management magazine.
